As the national team coach, Washington Celis, I must congratulate each Canadian team member who had an outstanding performance at the 2006 G.T.F. World Taekwon-Do Championships in Sardinia, Italy. Over thirty countries were in attendance, and the quality of black belts was fantastic. Each division consisted of at least 16 to 30 black belts. Here are the results. In sparring, Melissa Mushanski is the heavy weight world champion, Clint Diekema is the middle weight champion and Kevin Niessen is the light weight silver medalist. In patterns, Jennelle Sanders, Clint Diekema and Kevin Niessen placed second, and Gaetano Palella placed third. The Canadian adult male team also placed second in team patterns after loosing to the Malaysian team. Congratulations for a job well done!

The Sask GTF Annual Championship held on November 6, 2004, in Regina was very successful and entertaining, We would like to thank all the competitors, parents, volunteers and sponsors for making this past event a memorable experience. Very special thanks to the harmonious, vibrant and friendly delegation from Puerto Rico. Please find the results for the competitors who captured either gold, silver or bronze. Please see results.

The Estevan G.T.F. Taekwon-Do Academy, which is the sole club with Sask G.T.F. and G.T.F. Canada, is under the technical guidance of Daniel Muñiz, 5th degree Black Belt and two time world champion. Other black belts seem to claim to be affiliated with G.T.F., but they are not. Please refer to letter dated February 13, 2003.
